Beside the main Ameropa chamber music festival,
Ameropa organizes one week Solo Masterclasses
for “Ameropa” instruments in dependence on faculty and participants interest.
INFORMATION
This event will be held the week prior to our main festival, Saturday, July 17 – Saturday, July 24, 2010
in Brandýs nad Labem, 20 km north-east from the city of Prague. You can reach Prague using public transportation.
This program features 6 days of individual lessons with Ameropa faculty.
You will work intensively on your soloist progress and prepare chamber music parts for the following two-weeks course
and Ameropa festival concerts.
The solo week will be opened by faculty concert and closed by concerts
of participants in the historical Brandýs Castle.
This „solo week“ is drawn up as an additional program to the main Ameropa Chamber Music Program and cannot be
applied for separately, without participance in the main chamber festival in Prague.
Participants interested in Solo Courses for Horn can participate also on specialized the
19th Interpretation Horn Courses HORNCLASS 2010, which is organized by Horn Music Agency Prague after

Ameropa offers scholarship 10% from chamber music course price for participants,
who will attend solo master classes: both in Brandys nad Labem - organized
by Ameropa for all instruments and vocalists and Hornclass - for horn players.

professor at the Hochschule fur Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden, leading Czech soloist and virtuoso, was invited to take
part in the first days of the solo courses (Sunday, July 18 - Tuesday, July 20).
He will introduce himself and lead Monday's violin workshop
and also perform in his solo recital in Brandys Castle on Sunday
evening acompanied by Vaclav Macha. In addition he will teach violinists
from Sunday to Tuesday - each interested violinist will get ONE free
lesson covered by Ameropa. In the case of additional lesson requested
price 40 EUR per lesson will be paid in the office.
The late registration deadline for active participants is May 15, 2010.
For late registering applicants (April 15th - May 15th, 2010), AMEROPA cannot totally guarantee that all their individual needs can be met.
