AMEROPA SPECIAL PROGRAM, SCHOLARSHIP, PRICE REDUCTIONS

AMEROPA INTENSIVE PROGRAM DISCOUNT

Ameropa faculty board will evaluate your recordings and choose applicants, preferably members of pre-formed groups.
The number of granted scholarships depends on Ameropa possibilities.

LAST MINUTE PARTICIPATION

In dependence on the amount of regular applicants, Ameropa can announce, after its deadline, for limited number of individual instruments the last minute participation.
This is a program of additional enrolling of players on specific instruments, for significantly reduced prices. It might happen within months May or June, in order to provide necessary replenishment of ensembles for regularly applied participants.
Ameropa stipulates the right to open this program on its own consideration up to actual needs and exclusively in interest of regular participants.

CHAMBER MUSIC FEE COVERS THE FOLLOWING

ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS

14-day music course in Prague located in the "Jan Hanuš Music School", which is well equipped with rehearsal rooms and practice rooms with pianos;
Participation in 2 - 4 ensembles;
Five lessons with faculty for each ensemble, rehearsal rooms and time;
Special program members will have doubled lessons with faculty;
Two private lessons as well as specialized specialized chamber music master classes;
Concert opportunities for all participants (different levels, different venues);
Free entrance to all AMEROPA concerts;
Basic hostel lodging »» with breakfasts at a location near the Music School;
Lunches and/or several group complimentary dinners;
Trips to Brandýs nad Labem and Polička (native place of Bohuslav Martinů), Bohuslav Martinů exhibition;
Brandýs nad Labem castle sightseeing and Gothic castle Svojanov guided sightseeing;
Group travel expenses in the Czech Republic for the events organized by AMEROPA, during the courses.

PASSIVE PARTICIPANTS

Free admission to all Ameropa course and festival programs, workshops, master classes and the opportunity to observe chamber music lessons and coaching sessions;
Hotel lodging »» with breakfasts at a location near the Music School;
Lunches and/or several group complimentary dinners;
Trips to Brandýs nad Labem and Polička (native place of Bohuslav Martinů), Bohuslav Martinů exhibition;
Brandýs nad Labem castle sightseeing and Gothic castle Svojanov guided sightseeing;

SOLO MASTERECLASSES PRICE COVERS THE FOLLOWING

Week solo instrument music course in the Music School in Brandýs nad Labem with 5 solo individual lessons;
Specialized solo master classes;
Concerts in the Royal hall of Brandýs castle:
Opening faculty concert on Saturday, July 17, 2010;
Concerts of participants on Thursday, July 22 and on Friday, July 23, 2010;
Hotel lodging »» in 3 bed rooms with breakfast (Saturday, July 17 - Friday, July 23, 2010)
(Accommodation is not included in the price for Czech participants);
Lunches and/or several group complimentary dinners;
Transportation after Solo Masterclass (Saturday 24) from Brandýs nad Labem to Prague for Chamber music course;
One night accommodation in Prague, standard hostel lodging (Saturday 24)

PASSIVE PARTICIPANTS

Opportunity to participate in all AMEROPA course and festival programs, just without active instrumental playing;
Concerts in the Royal hall of Brandýs castle;
Hotel lodging »» in double bed rooms with breakfasts at a location near the Music School (Saturday, July 17 - Friday, July 23, 2010)
(Accommodation is not included in the price for Czech/Slovak participants);

Optional Prague SIGHTSEEING

4-hour guided sightseeing tour of Prague on Saturday, July 24, 2010 from 2pm would incur an additional charge of 20 €

in Mozart’s Prague residence (Villa Bertramka) on Saturday, July 24, 2010 from 7pm for an additional charge of 20 €

Optional EVENING CONCERT

in Church of Our Lady of The Snow Prague Horn festival opening concert on Sunday, August 7, 2010 from 8 pm for an additional charge of 20 €

AMEROPA 2010 photos, RECORDINGS from concerts, T-SHIRTS with Ameropa particiants names

Ameropa will make T-shirts with all faculties and participants names and group photos during festival.
Concerts will be recorded if participant will be interested to have their performances recordings.
Ameropa will have photographer, so you can have photos from your concerts, lessons and free time events.
We will provide you with information about these possibilities in the office.

GREEN PROGRAM

Cycle of Prague’s five most attractive culturally-educational routes, especially for Ameropa focused to the rich musical heritage of Bohemian capital, gives you opportunity to share extracurricular activities.
Additional price 100 € covers English speaking tour guide, Prague sightseeing on Saturday, July 24 (or another day, upon situation) and Prague transportation.
Entrance fees into visited museums and sights will be charged extra.

The application deadline is April 15th, 2010.
For late registering applicants (after April 15), AMEROPA cannot totally guarantee that all their individual needs can be met. These orders will be arranged individually, with the results depending on the actual situation.

PAYMENT

The first part (deposit) of your payment shall contain the following:
- 50 € non-refundable application fee;
- 400 € advanced tuition fee to reserve a place in the festival.

This non-refundable deposit, payable in USD, € or in other freely exchangeable currencies, shall be sent before April 15, 2010.
Without this payment, your place in the festival will be forfeited.

AMEROPA must receive the balance "in full" before the end of June, 2010.

PAYMENT INFORMATION AND OPTIONS BANK TRANSFER, CREDIT CARDS PAYMENT, PAYPAL AND CHECKS.

BANK TRANSFER

Payments for tuition as well as room and board for the AMEROPA Festival and Courses or Solo Masterclass should be transferred to the AMEROPA accounts which are hosted by Citibank Prague, Czech Republic or Citibank New York, USA.
Payment transfers can be made through your local bank using USD, EUR or other freely exchangeable currencies. There is a transfer fee for each wire transfer (amount depends on your local bank, it is about $ 15 / 10 €).
You need to add this fee to the total if you are to be using this service for payment.

PayPal PAYMENT:

For possibility to use credit cards or pay through your PayPal account, you can use direct PayPal payment.

PERSONAL CHECKS

Although the above methods of payments are preferred, it is also possible to pay by check. Checks for the payment in USD should be made out to AMEROPA o.s. and should be sent to Citibank NY.
